Policy
Privacy policy
A full privacy policy has been drafted from the actual installer source rather than from a template, and it is waiting on external legal review. It is not published here and it is not in force. This page is a placeholder so the footer link resolves while the site is being built.
The reviewed text replaces everything below.
What the drafted policy says, in outline
MYOS runs on your own computer. Nothing you write in your vault is ever sent to us, and we cannot read your notes, your tasks, or anything you say to your assistant.
What we hold is small and ordinary: your order details, which reach us from the payment provider when you buy, and your email address, so we can send your receipt, your install link, and one note asking how the install went.
One thing can be sent from your machine, and only if you say yes: a one-line note after an install, containing the order number, whether it worked, which step it reached, any error code, and your Windows version. Nothing from inside your vault. Declining costs you nothing.
Separately, and outside our reach: talking to your assistant sends the parts of your files it reads to Anthropic, exactly as any Claude session does. That is between you and Anthropic under their terms, and it happens whether or not MYOS is involved.
Still to be settled before publication
- The legal identity, contact address and jurisdiction that the policy is issued under.
- The exact list of processors, which depends on which payment, email and hosting services end up in use.
- Retention periods, and the mechanism for a deletion or access request.
- Whether any analytics or advertising measurement runs on this site, and what consent it requires before it does.
