Growing your system
MYOS arrives as a starting structure, not a finished product. You change it by talking to your assistant, and everything you change stays changed.
What "as-is" means
Nobody pushes anything into your vault. No update lands overnight, no file changes under you, nothing you customised gets overwritten by someone else's improvement.
That cuts both ways and it is fair to say so plainly. You are not waiting on a roadmap, and you are also not being carried by one. The system improves when you improve it, which is a real difference from a subscription and is the reason the files are yours.
What changing it looks like
It looks like a sentence.
"This context file is getting long, tighten it up." "I want a new area for the rental property." "Build me the thing that watches my inbox folder." "This onboarding task confused me at step three, fix the wording." "Rename my assistant."
Your assistant edits the file. There is no ticket, no settings screen, and nothing to learn first.
The pattern for anything bigger
New capability follows one shape every time, whether it is a calendar connection, a new command, or a workflow you invented.
You name the wish. It becomes a task. Your assistant sends an intern to research the cleanest way to do it. Your assistant builds and configures it. You use it.
You never read the documentation. You describe the outcome and let the work happen in a task, where the reasoning is recorded for the version of you who comes back to this in a year.
Where upgrades actually come from
Your system's upgrades are the changes you made and kept. That is the whole update mechanism inside the vault, and it is why the structure is deliberately plain: anything readable is anything your assistant can extend.
If you later see a better idea somewhere, you do not migrate to it. You describe it and it gets built into what you already have, alongside a year of your own history.
Two rules that keep it from going sideways
Change one thing at a time and use it for a week. A structure you invented in one enthusiastic evening is usually a structure you abandon by Thursday.
Let the change go through a task. It costs nothing extra, and it means the reason for every odd corner of your system is written down somewhere rather than lost.
